Financial inclusion programmes covers access to financial services i.e. savings, credit and insurance as well as financial literacy. The Finscope (FSDT) financial access survey shows over 40% of Tanzanian adults do not have access to financial services in Tanzania, this is rural development. It is on these bases, SEDIT inverted VICOBA model, a group and savings approach as a platform for participatory poverty alleviation.
